Happy Day, My Friends!
Right now, here in North Texas where I live, the weather is perfect and nature is a reflection of it. You can appreciate the lush grass and blooming flowers everywhere, birds chirping, and people enjoying the outdoors. In fact, at this moment as I write these words, I find myself in my backyard, enjoying the fresh-crisp air and the contrast of the blue sky and the plants' greenery.
As you've likely noticed from my past blogs and newsletter, connection with nature is an essential activity for me. Mother Earth’s energy allows me to align and connect with Spirit. When I walk or jog in the mornings (tending to my body’s physical activity requirements), I do not wear headphones or take my phone with me. Why? Because I want to be aware of my surroundings, connecting my soul with the All, aligning my whole being (Spirit, soul, and body) and breathing life.

Alignment of the whole being, as I found when I walk in the morning or when I commit myself to be in a state of continuous gratitude, is fundamental to live a happy, fulfilling life. Practicing and understanding this fact is key for well-being transformation. It is because I have experienced transformation in my life through the integration or alignment of Spirit, Soul and Body that I offer this type of coaching services through WellBeing w/Coach Edna.
If you have visited WellBeing w/Coach Edna's website, you might have noticed that I offer three coaching paths: Health and Lifestyle, Empower Yourself, and Remembrance. These three paths correspond to the fundamental aspects of our being: the Body, the Soul, and the Spirit, respectively. Similar to God’s Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, our Being’s trinity is Spirit, Soul, and Body. When these three aspects are working in alignment and at the fullness of their capacities, our whole-being works perfectly, like a well-oiled machine, and life flows harmoniously.
In mainstream media jargon, finding this alignment is commonly referred to as the path to achieve well-being. A common definition of well-being is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity. It includes having good physical and mental health, high life satisfaction, a sense of meaning or purpose.
The results of living in optimum WellBeing are outstanding. Physically (the body), well-being helps sustain energy levels for longer periods of time, and enhances vitality. In addition, if one or more of our body systems are compromised, due to the environment or circumstances of our life, this alignment strengthens, improves, enhances, and reduces inflammation of the bodily systems. The body is a complex and amazing piece of organic technology. Its intricacies, complexity, and perfection is beyond our comprehension. Even science puzzles at it. But when we align our soul and Spirit with the body, we don't have to depend on Science, the body knows exactly what to do in optimal ways.
Well-being at the mental, emotional, and willpower level (the soul) increases confidence, positive mental attitude and resilience. It reduces stress and anxiety levels, promotes feelings of happiness and contentment, enhances cognitive functions like exploration and curiosity, among others. As we gain control of our mental and emotional health, we can clear the mind, open the heart, disconnect from the physical sensation, and allow the soul to take dominion (will) over your body and your experiences, both physically and non-physically.
The soul is also referred to as the Self or your Consciousness, and we activate it through awareness. When we become aware of our thoughts (mental plane) and our feelings (emotional plane), then we can recognize our Soul’s desires and use the Will to act on them. Well-being at the Soul level builds up your character, strengthens your self-confidence and self-efficacy, activates your awareness, and facilitates connection with Spirit.

Spiritual well-being, while complex to articulate, is fundamental to our existence. Spirit is that part of the non-physical realm that unites all. It is the living energetic fabric where everything exists and what everything is made of. Even when we can’t recognize it, without Spirit neither our body nor our soul exists. As Scripture states, “by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible…He is before all things, and in Him all things consist” -Colossians 1:16-7 (NKJV). As an analogy, our body and soul are our Being’s visible and invisible parts created and sustained by Spirit .
Spirit is also referred to as the Breath of Life. It is this Breath of Life that keeps your body alive and functioning. Our consciousness, which is part of our soul, is not needed for the body’s hearts to beat and pump the blood around our body nourishing and oxygenating every cell of it. It is done unto us by this Supreme force, the Spirit. Once the Breath of Life is gone, the whole body stops working.
So, what are the benefits of Spiritual well-being? It connects us with the supreme force of unconditional love, brings remembrance of who we are and why are we here in this existence, connects us with our soul purpose, allows us to discern and make better choices, allows us to take control and make good use of your abilities, skills, and talents, allows us to tap into compassion, understanding, fairness, forgiveness, peace, happiness, joy, and provides spiritual abundance and prosperity.
In today's world, maintaining alignment across Spirit, Soul, and Body is challenging. Various physical and non-physical forces pull or push us out of alignment. Although achieving alignment is totally possible, it takes consistent practice. Moreover, maintaining alignment is conditioned to maintaining awareness of the Self.

Coaching facilitates the awareness of your present circumstances, your strengths and weaknesses, and your motivators. It helps you connect with your desires and wants, and to visualize a more fulfilling version of yourself.
