WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching is a tool which helps people to achieve a higher level of well-being in the different aspects of life. It is a growth-promoting relationship that elicits autonomous motivation, increasing the capacity to change towards self-desired outcome.
A coach will help you to move from the present moment and circumstances into the direction of the vision of your future self through mindful listening, perceptive reflections of what you had expressed, and powerful open-ended questions leading to self discovery.

WHAT IS A HEALTH & WELLBEING COACH?
A health & wellbeing coach is a health care professional trained in behavior change theory, motivational strategies, and communication techniques, which are use to assist patients to develop intrinsic motivation and obtain skills to create sustainable change for improved health and wellbeing.

Taking into consideration the physician's recommendation, Health and WellBeing Coaching is used as a tool of behavior change for the prevention and treatment of diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, cancer, and other chronic disorders.

WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF PRACTICE OF A HEALTH AND WELLBEING COACH?
Health and wellbeing coaches work with individuals and groups in a client-centered process to facilitate and empower the client to develop and achieve self-determined goals related to health and wellbeing. Coaches support clients in mobilizing internal strengths and external resources, and in developing self-management strategies for making sustainable, healthy lifestyle, behavior changes. While health and wellbeing coaches per se do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide psychological therapeutic interventions, they may provide expert guidance in areas in which they hold active, nationally recognized credentials, and may offer resources from nationally recognized authorities such as those referenced in NBHWC’s Content Outline with Resources. As partners and facilitators, health and wellbeing coaches support their clients in achieving health goals and behavioral change based on their clients’ own goals and consistent with treatment plans as prescribed by individual clients’ professional health care providers. Coaches assist clients to use their insight, personal strengths and resources, goal setting, action steps and accountability toward healthy lifestyle change.

CAN I BOOK AN INTAKE SESSION?
Absolutely! I offer a free intake or introductory session. This session is design to give us the opportunity to get to know each other, and determine if we are the right partnership to enhance your life outcomes.

For coaching session packages and fees, Contact Me. As each person has a unique path, I will provide information according to your coaching needs and desired outcomes.
WHAT IS WELLBEING W/COACH EDNA COACHING SESSION'S CANCELLATION POLICY?

By scheduling an appointment Client agrees that it is the Client's responsibility to notify the Coach of call/meeting cancellation 24 hours in advance of the scheduled calls/meetings to be eligible for reschedule. Notification shall be made by email to edna@wellbeingwcoachedna.com.

The Client can reschedule the canceled call/meeting if notified 24 hours in advance depending on coaching session availability.

If Client do not cancel a minimum of 24 hours in advance, it will be considered a No Show.

HOW OFTEN DOES COACH EDNA CHECK HER E-MAILS?
I check the email everyday except Sundays, which is my resting day. Each day I check my emails at 8:30 am and 12:00 pm. From Monday through Thursday I check the email inbox at 3:30 pm as well. Emails that require a response will be replied within 48 hours of receipt. All times are in Central Standard Time (CST).
